This will be our 4th year for this Thursday night event. We will be moving to the ballroom and expect even more "tasters" than last year. Acoustic performers will be playing during the Taste and then we will have some amped up bands after.

Please notify LAFF if your fair or festival will be participating in the Taste of Louisiana by sending an e-mail to email@example.com by February 15, 2016 to assist with the planning of this event.
Guidelines to Participate
Tables will be available for your fair or festival to provide samples of food items that may be relevant to your event or a local flair of your hometown area. You will be allowed to start setting up at 5:00 pm and doors will open for guest to start sampling at 7:00 pm.
Decorating your table in your fair or festival theme is encouraged and table decorations will be judged. Don’t forget to bring promotional items to advertise your event.
There are no minimum or maximum quantities that you must provide, simply provide what you can. We anticipate approximately 300 attendees to this event.
Cooking will not be allowed in the room. Samples that need to be cooked must be prepared off site and ready to be distributed. Use of warmers is permitted.
All paper products for sampling will be provided by LAFF to ensure that only sample sizes are being distributed. You will need to provide your own utensils for serving.
First, Second and Third places will be recognized in the main dish and sweet category as well as table decorations.
Peoples’ Choice ballots will be given out, returned ballots will be counted to determine winners for the food categories.
Table decorations will be judged by a panel of judges.
Awards will be announce at Friday morning’s General Session.
Goal of the Evening
To provide a venue where we are able to socialize with our fellow LAFF members and enjoy the great cuisine that the state of Louisiana has to offer.
